has expanded its payment offerings in Poland by adding support for Blik, the country’s mobile payment network.
The integration comes through a partnership with European payment processor PPro. This offers Polish users a quicker and more intuitive way to buy crypto on the platform using familiar local payment methods.
The announcement was made by a Coinbase executive and Paris co-founder of non-fungible token (NFT) Côme Prost in a LinkedIn post on December 17.

The expansion arrives despite delays in Poland’s efforts to pass crypto-specific legislation. The government has reintroduced a strict crypto bill following President Karol Nawrocki’s recent veto, which highlights regulatory hurdles even as crypto adoption grows.
PPro executive Tom Benson noted in a LinkedIn post:
It has been a pleasure working with the team at Coinbase to launch Blik on their platform to enable Polish customers to access Crypto.
He added that the partnership will deepen in 2026 with additional local payment options and broader collaboration.
Crypto adoption in Poland continues to accelerate despite regulatory delays. According to the Chainalysis 2025 European Crypto Adoption report, Poland ranks eighth among European countries for crypto received.
