Further Asset Management, a digital asset firm based in the UAE, has teamed up with Canada’s 3iQ to introduce a new hedge fund worth $100 million.
The goal is to give large investors a way to access cryptocurrency markets through a structured and controlled investment model.
The project, called the Further x 3iQ Alpha Digital Fund, combines multiple trading strategies to balance risk while maintaining exposure to digital assets such as Bitcoin

According to Faisal Al Hammadi, managing partner at Further, the fund provides professional investors with secure, scalable access to cryptocurrencies. He noted that the setup meets strict institutional standards and has passed extensive checks by major global allocators.
A key aspect of the fund is its Bitcoin-based share class, which allows eligible investors to invest and receive returns in Bitcoin rather than traditional currency.
The Bitcoin share class began with a major in-kind investment from an undisclosed Abu Dhabi family office. Its design focuses on building long-term Bitcoin exposure, which enables profits to be automatically reinvested in BTC to increase total holdings over time.
Pascal St-Jean, president and CEO of 3iQ, explained that this setup gives investors confidence to aim for solid, double-digit returns while keeping risk in check.
