Liberland, the micronation backed by Tron billionaire Justin Sun, has fired its secretary of technology after accusing him of seizing control of the country’s blockchain and blocking President Vít Jedlička’s vote. According to a Congress resolution published by Liberland, Dorian Stern Vukotić was removed from the blockchain-based Congress for “gross misconduct, abuse of power, and breach of trust.”

The resolution claims that in November 2024, Vukotić removed multisig protections from the Sudo account, which holds administrative powers, and unlawfully centralized control of the Liberland blockchain. Then in October 2025, he allegedly tried to take over the Liberland.org domain and, when that failed, pushed for a fraudulent liberland.io site.

A previous warning also links Vukotić to an unauthorized token launch under the Liberland name. During that same month, he received funds from Liberland’s Ministry of Finance, consisting of BNB and Liberland’s own Liberland Merit (LLM) token, meant to create a trading pair for the two tokens. Liberland claims these funds have not been deployed and Vukotić refuses to return them.

Altered governance parameters

Vukotić is also accused of changing critical governance parameters. He allegedly increased the congressional voting period from four to 75 days while blocking Jedlička’s voting powers.

Liberland has demanded that Vukotić return the funds and hand over control of all liquidity pools to the Ministry of Finance. It stated, “Should Mr. Vukotić fail to comply within seven days, Congress shall treat his continued actions as defiance and misappropriation and shall take all appropriate measures, including public censure.” Public censure is a formal act of scorn by a government body.

Who is Vukotić?

In his pitch for the March 2026 congressional election, Vukotić claims involvement in Liberland since 2021 and says he has lived in the micronation for over a year. He mentions meeting his girlfriend there and having a child “who was also kinda made in Liberland.” His platform complains about Liberland’s “disorganization and lack of direction,” and he promises to overhaul budgeting and planning.

His proposals include creating a “Ministry of Propaganda” to spread “good Liberland vibes” to neighboring populations and an intelligence agency called “The Invisible Hand.” In his final “attack” phase, he hypothesizes about buying land with a large bribe or a D-Day-style landing with 10 ships and 1,000 people. He added, “Maybe some dumbf**kistan somewhere sees how great we are and sells us the land somewhere else entirely.”

Liberland is a 7 km² micronation on disputed land between Serbia and Croatia. It is not officially recognized by any country and maintains a balancing act of complex entry rules and off-site camps to avoid upsetting local authorities. The congressional election that elected Vukotić has also voted Justin Sun as prime minister seven times, though Protos is confident Sun has never visited Liberland. Protos has contacted Vukotić for comment and will update this story if they respond.
